Patteda Anchu
Patteda Anchu sarees, handwoven across the historical weaving communities of Karnataka since the 10th century, are characterized by their checked patterns, symbolizing blessings of grace and prosperity. Originally woven specifically for the devotion of Goddess Yellamma Saundatti and later gifted to brides, they embody the state’s deep-rooted textile heritage.
